In the logistics sector, fast, safe and cost-effective transport methods have come to the fore. Complete TIR transport comes first among these methods. This method, which is especially preferred for the transportation of large volume loads, offers companies time and cost advantages.

What is Full Truck Load (FTL)?

Full Truck Load (FTL) is when a shipper uses the entire truck capacity on its own. In this transportation model, the truck is filled with only one customer's load and goes directly to the destination. No intermediate transportation point or load consolidation is made.

Full Truck Load in Turkey

Due to its geographical location, Turkey is a logistics bridge between Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The countries where most complete transport is done from Turkey are:

Germany, France, Netherlands (European export transports)

Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan (Middle East and Central Asia market)

Russia and CIS countries (via the Black Sea line)

CMR document is generally used as a road transport document. Trucks with foreign plates are included in the transportation as well as Turkish plated trucks.

Full Truck Transportation (FTL) Advantages

  • Time Saving: Since the load goes directly to the delivery point, the delivery time is shortened.
  • Security: The load is not mixed with other loads during the transportation and handling is at a minimum level.
  • Less Damage Risk: The load is loaded and unloaded only once, which reduces the possibility of damage.
  • Ease of Planning: The entire transportation process is optimized for a single customer and load.
  • Cost Efficiency: Unit transportation cost decreases for large volume loads.
  • Full Truck Transportation (FTL) Usage Areas

  • Large manufacturers and suppliers
  • Export/import companies
  • Food, textile, automotive and heavy industry sectors
  • Companies carrying bulky or valuable loads
